Google API Services & Gmail Data Limited Use Disclosure
Pyro Jobs requests Gmail read-only access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly) for client job-application tracking, interview alerts, and career status updates. The separate administrator company-mailbox workflow also requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send to send administrator-approved business replies.
Pyro Jobs's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Job-focused retention: We read candidate messages to identify job-related communications and retain up to the newest 5,000 encrypted client messages, without attachments. Filtering may temporarily process unrelated candidates; messages classified as unrelated are removed. Pending or uncertain messages remain private.
- Automated classification: OpenAI receives sender, subject, message text, and relevant application facts to classify job events. Pyro does not use Gmail data to train general-purpose AI models or opt this processing into provider training/data-sharing programmes. Requests are not stored for provider evaluations; provider abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days.
- Specific derived facts: The current disclosure asks you to explicitly authorize your current and future assigned job-application specialist and administrators/CEO to read company, role, event type, and relevant date from each derived job event. That agreement does not authorize access to the source message.
- Specific-message sharing: Sender, recipient, subject, snippet, body, links, and codes remain private unless you share that message. A job-team share follows the current specialist role across reassignment and includes administrator/CEO oversight.
- Review and exceptional access: You may request administrator review of one message. Short-lived exceptional access is limited to documented security incidents or legal requirements and is audited.
- OTP autofill: An authorized JAS session may extract a one-time code and pass it directly to autofill without rendering, persisting, notifying, or logging it.
- Client read-only access: The client connection does not compose, send, reply, archive, delete, or change Gmail labels. The company-mailbox workflow uses a separate administrator consent journey, with read/send permission for business inquiries and approved replies; company content and drafts are visible to administrators/CEO.
- Deletion: Disconnecting stops mailbox work, removes retained messages and active credentials, and revokes Google access. If Google is unavailable, encrypted credentials are retained solely for revocation retries and cannot be used for mailbox work. Structured career history, consent proof, and content-free audits remain. You can delete Gmail-derived career history from Gmail settings even after disconnecting. Company disconnect also deletes retained company threads and drafts.
